Man who sent photos of sex woman gets life sentence

BARNSTABLE, Mass. – A Massachusetts man who fatally stabbed his wife sent pictures of her body to friends to say that he had killed her and needed someone to care for their children is sentenced to life in prison.

The Cape Cod Times reports that Christopher Fratantonio received the mandatory sentence of life without parole after his first degree murder conviction Friday in February 2017, the killing of the 35-year-old Maria Fratantonio in their Barnstable home.

Prosecutors say the couple’s 6-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son were home at the time and the boy was in one of the photos.

The family of the victim says Christopher Fratantonio control. He told the police that his wife was cruel, demanding, and belittling.

His lawyer says that her client has mental health problems and post-traumatic stress from child abuse.
