Man that rammed people with German bus stop wanted to commit suicide

The motorist who was in the German city of Recklinghausen at a bus stop rammed people waiting wanted to commit suicide. That has the police Friday announced after an analysis of the traces on the rampplek and interrogations.

The action hit a 88-year-old woman so severely injured that they later died. Five others had to go to the hospital to be transferred. Three other injured people refused to go to the hospital to be transported.

The 32-year-old motorist, who is not in possession of a valid driver’s license, is in the hospital, arrested and taken to a psychiatric hospital and transferred. He has already been treated due to mental illness.

The local police declared Thursday after a preliminary examination, that the man might have of life wanted to rob. The search of his home, has no other motives brought to light.

Recklinghausen is located in the German state of North rhine-Westphalia in the northern Ruhr area. The city is located about 60 kilometers away from Dortmund.
