A Missouri man hsa accused of driving on a sidewalk, while a school bus was stopped to pick up children.
A Missouri man is arrested after a viral video showed him driving on a sidewalk past a school bus that had stopped to pick up children.
The video is recorded from the inside of the bus near an elementary school in Ballwin, Mo., on Wednesday, according to reports.
“The cars of the bus stop arms are real and dangerous,” Parkway Schools, said.
Ballwin police said Matthew McCloskey, 52, of St. Louis, drove on the sidewalk to avoid the bus stop for the bus.
He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and violation of a school, bus stop, police said.

“McCloskey admitted to driving the vehicle is listed that a mechanical failure as a result of the accident,” Ballwin police said.
McCloskey told KDSK-TV, his brakes failed.
“I think I did a good job of not killing people,” McCloskey told the station.
McCloskey has a criminal record including attempted rape, not to register as a sex offender and drug charges, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported.
