An Ohio defendant with an unforgettable face tattoo was captured shortly after the police posted the man’s photo on Facebook, warning the local population to be on the lookout.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Anthony Ward, who goes by the name “Popeye”, was located and taken into custody Wednesday.
“Be on the look out for aka (Popeye) Anthony Ward subject has Felony warrants through Brown County and wanted for questioning in several B&E [breaking and entering],” police wrote in a earlier Facebook post.

Police do not describe Ward’s physical appearance and was not necessary. A mugshot of the District displayed its unusual face tattoo, that the area under his eyes. Officials also released a photo of Ward’s car, a Black Chevy Cruze, to help find him.
The mugshot to the public’s attention, in which almost 3,000 shares on Facebook. Ward was captured about eight hours later.

He was arrested on theft and breaking-and-entering charges.
