A California man is facing the charges after he was caught doing something bizarre in a home in Salinas early Saturday morning.
Roberto Arroyo, 33, was caught on surveillance video licking a homeowner’s intercom system for the hours, Salinas Police told Fox News.

The images appear to show Arroyo repeatedly lick the system at the veranda while staring into the camera.
Georgia family members say that they returned from vacation to find stranger living in the house
The members of Georgia family back home Wednesday after a trip over the holidays said they were shocked to find that a man that they will not be recognized had replaced the locks and claimed that the house was of him.
The owner, Sylvia Dungan, told KION that they are outside of the city at the time of the licking, but that her children were at home. They were warned by the surveillance system if the detected motion in the vicinity of the front door.
“I thought, boy, there’s a lot of traffic. I go 5:00 in the morning? My son didn’t get home until 6:00, and then who the heck is that?” Dungan asked.
She added that “you laugh” about the situation “, because technically he is not do anything.”

The authorities said that they recognized Arroyo of the images, and that he now faces misdemeanor charges of prowling and violation of probation. He is also facing a charge of theft after police accused him of stealing Christmas light extension cords on the Salinas house.
The police forwarded their report to the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.
