A 4-year-old boy was thrown from the roof of a New York City building by his mentally ill brother, who was arrested, according to reports.
Shimron Smith was senselessly killed overnight Saturday, the New York Post reported. Shawn Smith, 20, was arrested on a murder charge.

“I just killed my brother,” he reportedly told the police, the paper reported, quoting sources. “I took my brother on the roof and I threw him out.”
Shimron was thrown from the top of an apartment building in Brooklyn that was seven stories high, according to the paper.

Shawn Smith is schizophrenic, and the police sources said he recently told his family that the voices in his head were ordering him to do something “bad”, the paper gemeld.De family is from Guyana.
Smith underwent psychiatric treatment in a hospital in July, according to the Post.
He was escorted out of the ward, Shawn Smith grinned and said, “not really” when reporters asked him if he intended to hurt his brother, WNBC-TV reported.
