Man arrested after gun found in carry-on baggage on the airport

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Authorities say a man was arrested at a Florida airport after a loaded gun was found in his carry-on luggage.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the 55-year-old Christopher Himschoot was arrested Monday morning at the Palm Beach International Airport.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says Himschoot went through security when a TSA agent saw the gun on an X-ray screen. An arrest report says a deputy checked Himschoot in the bag and found a Keltec P-32 pistol is loaded with a round.

Himschoot is charged with unlawful carry of a concealed weapon. He was released from jail on his own recognizance. The jail records did not list an attorney.
