DAYTON, Ohio Ohio A man accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend and two other people have pleaded guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Montgomery County’s prosecutor says the 62-year-old Shabazz Muhammad Ali pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated murder and other charges, including kidnapping.
Ali was previously known as Robert Ford Jr. He could face a possible death penalty, if the convicted person at the hearing in 2016 the massacre. His lawyer did not return a call seeking comment.
Police say Ali went to Dayton home in August 2016 and killed his ex-girlfriend 53-year-old Tammy Cox; her son, the 25-year-old Michael Cox; and the 74-year-old Jasper Taylor.
The authorities say that Ali had been earlier that day from a hospital, where he was taken for a mental evaluation.
