Maker Essential Phone promises delivery within a few weeks
The Essential Phone of Android founder Andy Rubin must be within a few weeks delivered to customers who have the phone already pre-ordered.
This is evident from an e-mail from Rubin to these customers, in the hands of, among others, The Verge.
The Essential Phone, a high-end Android smartphone with a nearly borderless screen, it was originally in the in the course of June, but the supply ran delay.
In the e-mail sets Rubin that customers “might become impatient”, but that they were “sure that they the device within a few weeks in our hands.”
The unit appears initially only in the United States, but according to rumors is the Essential Phone in a later stage also in Europe released. When that would be, is not yet known.
The phone also includes a magnetic connector to which certain accessories may be attached, such as a 360-degree camera.
