Lutes climbed to sixteenth place at the PGA Championship
Joost Luiten is Saturday at the PGA Championship in Surrey to the sixteenth place in the ranking climbed.
The South-Hollander went on to Wentworth Club in Virginia Water around in 72 strokes (par) and, therefore, increased three positions in the standings.
The circumstances made it hard, says Luiten on his website. “There was a lot of wind and today it was really very spicy.”
A double bogey on the fourth hole threw him back, but Luiten was able to fight back. “With a round of 72 in this wind, I am still in a nice position. The field is close together and if tomorrow I get a good round going get, three or four below, then it is still possible.”
Luiten starts with 214 strokes behind his name on the final day of the tournament. The Australian Andrew Dodt has with 208 strokes of the lead.
