Losses due to fraud with online banking dropped drastically
Banks suffer less and less losses due to fraud with internet banking. In the first six months of the year, it took the banks 148,000 of the euro, more than 80 percent less than in the last six months of 2015.
That appears Thursday in new data from the Dutch Association of Banks and betaalvereniging will the Netherlands.
Fraud with internet banking experienced in 2012 was a low point: in the first six months of that year was the damage 24.7 million euros, 167 times more than this year.
