Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, is asking a judge to release the evidence that they believe will help their cause in the current college admissions scandal.
The couple have reportedly filed court documents on Friday, the Massachusetts U.s. District Court, asking for an FBI interview, the statements made by scam mastermind William “Rick” Singer, which they believe strengthen their case and help to prove their innocence.
According to People, the couple has asked the court for access to the documents through their attorney, Sean Berkowitz. It is an honor that the content of the interviews, the researchers will have to convince a jury that she had no way of knowing that a portion of the money that they have paid for the Singer to step up their daughters to be admitted to the hall in the direction of bribery in the place of the legitimate channels of the university. However, the public prosecutor’s office was previously considered to be in the interview, the documents are irrelevant and immaterial.

“However, the Government seems to be to hide the exculpatory evidence that will help prove that the two Defendants believed that all of the payments that will be made would be to go to a ski by yourself for a legitimate, university-approved purpose, or for any other legitimate charitable purposes,” read the motion, according to People magazine.

The presentation of the famous couple, added: “The Government’s failure to disclose this information, it is completely unacceptable, and this Court should stop it.”

The couple are hoping to beat bribery charges by showing that they have been deceived in the meaning of what the Singer would have to spend their own money.
Loughlin and Giannulli have previously pleaded not guilty to charges of bribery were brought against them on October along with 11 other parents are swept up in the scandal. The duo is accused of the organisation of a total tax payment of $500,000 to the Singer by his daughter, OIivia, Jade and Isabella, was recruited to USC, the athletes on the crew team, and in spite of never having taken part in the sport.

The charge of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery carries a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The couple have been hit with charges of money laundering and conspiracy charges that could land them behind bars for up to 40 years if convicted on all of them.
