Longest suspension bridge in the world opened in Switzerland
In Switzerland it is Saturday, almost five hundred meters long suspension bridge put into use. Walkers, via the Europabrücke (europa bridge) at the place Zermatt is a ravine to cross.

It goes according to the local TOURIST information office to be the longest suspension bridge for pedestrians in the world. The 494-metre-long connection is equipped with a special system to prevent the bridge to and fro shaking.
Although it was going to be the longest suspension bridge in the world, it is not the highest. So is a 405-metre-long bridge in the Austrian Reutte some 110 metres above the ground.
