Long queues for the Louvre, Vermeer-exhibition

The interest for the exhibition with the works of Johannes Vermeer in the Louvre is so large, that the Paris museum there the past few days, not managed the flow of visitors in the right direction.
In the Louvre since Wednesday, two exhibitions of Dutch art to the public. For ‘Vermeer and the masters of the genreschilderkunst’ and an exhibition of paintings from the collection of the American couple, Thomas and Daphne Kaplan.
Already on the first day attracted the exhibition with the work of Vermeer a record of 9,000 visitors. Outside were people, sometimes in line for hours to them to get in. Others dropped off because they did not card able to buy.
