Gamestreamingdienst Twitch is coming soon with so-called Extensions, interactive elements for viewers of livestreams.

It reports the company, which is owned by Amazon, on his blog.

Twitch mentions as examples include a webshop integration where livestreamende users merchandise on offer. Also, information about a tournament that is going on, for example, at the bottom of the screen.

It is not yet known when the Extensions are rolled out, but the development begins according to Twitch “soon”.
