Since The Fall of 2011 was the wait for fans of Gorillaz, the cartoonproject of Damon Albarn (Blur) and cartoonistJamie Hewlett. Now the band are back with Hallelujah Money, the forerunner of a new album this year. For the song they worked together with multi-instrumentalist and Mercury Prize-winner Benjamin Clementine.

The video, which Clementine sings in the elevator of the Trump Tower comes out on the day before the inauguration of American president Donald Trump. The song goes deeper into the impact of Trumps swearing.
The last Monday buzzed it all of the rumors about the new record. The band solved the past few months, all sorts of cryptic messages on social media, which tells the story of characters Noodle and Russel were further deepened.
