With the sharp Similarities put the band around Simon ‘Bazart’ Nuytten the last straight line towards her first ep. ‘The comments on music blogs are really crazy.’
Belpopliefhebbers keep Felix Pallas all stay in the holes. The synthpopgroep around frontman Simon Nuytten drew in 2015, the last eight with The New Generation of Studio Brussels and brought the fine singles Rakata and Curse, but after that it remained a year of silence releasegebied.
Around the new Similarities, the precursor of an ep this autumn suits, happens to be some more. That obviously has a lot to do with that other group of Nuytten, Bazart. “That certainly has an effect, also on Warhola (the group of Bazartlid Oliver Symons, ed.), but we think that’s no problem, ” says Nuytten. ‘We all support each other’s projects and regularly look at each other. Fans of our bands have in common, that are simply very good fans.’
There is more than the Bazarteffect. Similarities and is the first release on the record label of manager and muziekblogger Jarri Van der Haegen, who is another hip violence as Tsar B, WWWater and Fireworks under his wings. Van der Haegen received the American music site Billboard that is as far as the Similarities when first brought.
On gigs, we regularly hear that this is a potential single.
And that for a band that only in the autumn of his first ep release. “The first reactions are crazy. The number is particularly active shared on music blogs, ” says Nuytten proud about the new track.
