Lily Tomlin has a lot of respect for her “Grace and Frankie” co-star Jane Fonda.

The actress, 80, has known Fonda, 82, for many years, and will appear on the screen in 1980’s “9 to 5” is to reunite for Netflix comedy “Grace and Frankie.”

In the last few weeks, Lex has been arrested several times, often with celebrity friends, even though the cause of the protests in Washington, D. C.

“I stand with Jane, and Jane is a real toughie,” Tomlin told the New York Times. “… Jane was trying to get [Netflix executive] Ted Sarandos, to enable you to judge the next season of ‘Grace and Frankie’ for a year so that they could start to protest. Instead, she settled on going to D. C. until we had to start shooting.”

Lex is currently living in D. C, a leading protests every Friday in order to raise awareness of climate change, as part of the “Fire Drill” on Friday.” Each week has a different theme, such as burning fossil fuels, and how women can have an impact on climate change.

Tomlin himself was arrested on Friday at the protest with Fonda, in D. C., even though the “Barbarella” star was not arrested, according to Deadline.

A video of Tomlin’s arrest was shared on the official Twitter account of the Fire Drill last Friday.

“.@LilyTomlin had just been arrested, because the forest can’t wait to see,” read the tweet. “To maximize the climate benefit of forests, and we need to see more of forest landscapes remain intact, the management of the forests in a sustainable way and to restore those we have lost.”

Many of the other stars to have Lex in her life protests, including Sally Field, Ted Danson, Rosanna Arquette, Catherine Keener, Diane Lane, Paul Scheer, and “Grace and Frankie” co-star, Sam Waterston, and June Diane Raphael.
