Lil Nas in X will be sued for the unauthorised use of a sample from an existing song. The company, The Music Force, claiming more than 22 million euros from the Dutch to take control of the parts of the song Carry On by singer Bobby Caldwell, reported TMZ on Thursday.
This is before Lil Nas, X proved his major breakthrough with the hit single ” Old Town Road, he brought with him a new single and music video off of the name to Carry On. This song would be a sample of the results of the same-named album with Bobby Caldwell, but The Music is Force’, the twenty-year-old rapper, never asked for permission.
The Music Force, love is not only a rapper, but his record company Sony, to be responsible for the theft of the sample. The company also says that the Lil Nas in X will be “driven by greed and evil intentions”.
The rapper and his record label have not yet commented on the allegations that have been made. However, it is of the Carry-On is no longer on Spotify or YouTube to find it.
