Li Jiao will return as coach of the Dutch tafeltennissters. The 45-year-old former topspeelster on January 1, again in the service of the bond and with the female team towards the Olympic Games of 2020 in Tokyo.
Li Jiao, previously the Dutch mannenploeg under her wing, explained her function in may to the disappointment of the bond after a year you down because they have more time wanted to spend with her family in China.

Li Jiao is now returning to the league as coach of the women with Chen Zhibin as assistant coach. “Because there is a good planning is made, is the role of vrouwenbondscoach better to combine with her personal life,” says technical director Paul Haldan.
“This feature is its written on your body. They know the players through and through and with all her knowledge and experience is the best coach to get our players to assist during major tournaments.”
I ‘ve bondscoachschap missed’
The old-tafeltennisster looks forward to return to work with the national team. “I have that job always with lots of fun fulfilled and I’m still a huge tafeltennisliefhebber,” she says.
“I have the bondscoachschap missed and then starting in January again in the Netherlands with a lot of enthusiasm to work with the team to work towards the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.”
Li Jiao left in 1999, her home and went to be with DOV from Heerhugowaard to play table tennis. Five years later, she got a Dutch passport, and she could for the Orange hatch.
The Gelderse did on behalf of the Netherlands at the 2008 Games (Beijing), 2012 (London) and 2016 (Rio de Janeiro). In London she made the quarter-finals. Further, she was two times individual European champion and she has won four times in the European Top 12.
