LG Display reveals wider smartphonescherm for multitasking
Monitor manufacturer LG Display has a QHD display for smartphones announced with an aspect ratio of 18 to 9. This screen will be used in the new LG G6 smartphone from LG.
By the new aspect ratio is the screen wider than other displays. According to the manufacturer, it is on the screen easy to, for example, two apps at the same time. In addition, it provides, according to LG be a “better viewing experience”.
The new smartphonescherm has a resolution of 2880 by 1440 pixels, and is 5.7 inches in size. He has a pixel density of 564 pixels per inch, which is higher than other QHD-smartphonedisplays.
LG Display says the screen supply for the next flagship of LG. This will in all probability be referred to the LG G6. LG’s chief technology Skott Ahn said on gadgetbeurs CES earlier this month that the G6 “soon” will be announced.
