Lex Harding is angry about disappear in Rob Stenders’ Platenbonanza
Former radio-dj Lex Harding has not a good word to say about the decision of the NPO to program Platenbonanza of Rob Stenders, the deletion of NPO Radio 2.
In a letter to the board of the Dutch Public Broadcasting from the radioman of his displeasure about the state of affairs.
“Rarely was there on the Dutch radio a program with so much expertise and passion was created. A program where given the popularity huge many listeners enjoy. It is a witness of contempt for the listener to understand that program to be deleted”, quotes the AD from the letter.
“Moreover, it is absurd to have a gifted producer like Rob Stenders to serve”, continues the former Veronica-dj and radiobaas.
Stenders, his program lost after he was switched from AVROTROS to his old employer BNNVARA. He had expected Platenbonanza, daily between 14.00 and 16.00 on Radio 2, to be able to continue, but the NPO decided otherwise. The time slot is from 1 september occupied by Annemieke Schollaert, who happens to 3FM.
Rob Stenders is in conversation with BNNVARA to programs to enable them to remain on NPO Radio 2. This told omroepdirecteur Gerard Timmer earlier. “We would love,” said Timmer. “We’ll take him in BNNVARA-house, but we did not own a radio station. It is on NPO Radio to a decision about to take.”
