Legendary jazz Larry Coryell died
The legendary guitarist Larry Coryell is on Sunday at the age of 73 died.
That has his record label announced Monday.
Coryell was a pioneer in the blending of musical styles, jazz and rock. Thus he obtained the nickname “the godfather of fusion’. He spent more than sixty solo albums and worked with big names like Miles Davis and Chet Baker. The guitarist had for the upcoming summer tour with his band The Eleventh House on the schedule.
The musician died in his sleep, after he earlier this weekend a couple of times had occurred in a jazz club in New York.
