LeBron’s Ohio school would welcome a visit from the first lady

AKRON, Ohio Ohio is A public school that LeBron James helped create, says he would be pleased with a visit of the first lady, Melania Trump, who arranged the idea after her husband offended the NBA star on Twitter.

The Akron Beacon Journal reports a spokesman of the Akron school district in northeast Ohio said Monday there are no plans for first lady to visit James’ I Promise School, but would be willing to discuss the possibility.

Melania Trump made headlines when her spokeswoman, in a statement Saturday that said James seems to be “working to do good things” for the children. The statement came after President Donald Trump on Twitter called the black CNN host Don Lemon the “dumbest man on television” that James, “look smart, which is not easy to do” during an interview with CNN.
