Lead singer, Eddie Money, and has revealed he has stage 4 esophageal cancer.

In the late ’70’s and ’80’s hitmaker, best known for songs like “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Take Me Home Tonight,” he said, his fate is in the hands of God.”

The money, made the stunning announcement in a video released Saturday on his AXS TV reality series called “Real Money”. The full episode airs Oct. 12.

In the video, the Money, and says he found out he had cancer after what he thought it would be a routine checkup. The 70-year-old, whose real name was Edward Mahoney learned that the disease had spread to his liver and lymph nodes.

Money is said to be the one who “really, really, really hard.”

He has had many health problems recently, including a heart valve operation earlier this year with pneumonia after the procedure, which may lead to the cancellation of a planned summer tour.
