Rep. Robert Pittenger of North Carolina, called for an investigation into a report on the Obama administration’s handling of the anti-Hezbollah task force.

A Republican Congressman on Monday asked to search the house, in a report, the Obama administration held a Drug Enforcement Administration task force investigation, the Hezbollah drug trafficking and money laundering operations, all to ensure the Iran nuclear deal remained on track.
To cut to the bomb exposé Politically Sunday revealed that the Obama administration officials-blocked road, the campaign of the task force-the Cassandra project, the Lebanese militant group sent a letter to house Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy is in criminal activity, Rep. Robert Pittenger of North Carolina.
“These revelations are shocking and annoying,” Pittenger said in a statement to Fox News. “While the American soldiers fighting were brave the ISIS terrorists, with some paying the ultimate price, the Obama administration, according to reports, the protection of Hezbollah terrorists, were to Fund themselves by trafficking in, illegal drugs. No wonder that President Obama could not overcome to call them ” Radical Islamic terrorists.'”
Politico reported that the bureaucracy against the Cassandra project allowed the Hezbollah to be a major global threat to the security of bankrolling terrorist and military operations.
If the Cassandra project-leader, which delayed the development of the DEA-meter facility in Chantilly, Virginia, sought the approvals for some of the important investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial penalties, the judiciary and the Ministry of Finance officials, hindered or refused their requests, according to Politico.
The report explains how the got closer to the USA, to the finalization of the Iran nuclear deal, the more difficult the implementation of the Hezbollah investigations. After President Obama announced the offer were transferred out in January 2016, the Cassandra project officers to other jobs, Politico added.

“This is the same government that $1.7 billion in cash ransom to Iran,” Pittenger continued in the statement. “The growing connection between the terrorist organizations and Latin American drug cartels poses a serious threat to our national security, especially given the porous state of our southern border. Last month, I have a forum in Buenos Aires for the 220 members of the Parliament and government hosted representatives from 15 countries of South America, with the government and experts from the private sector, the critical challenge is to intercept drug-related financing of terrorism.”
Hezbollah was created by Iranian revolutionary guards in 1982 to fight Israel’s invasion of Beirut. Under the leadership of Hassan Nasrallah took over in 1992, after his predecessor, Abbas Mussawi, was killed in an Israeli air attack that took the group and aims for the realization of an Iranian-style Islamic Republic in Lebanon to fight against Israel, and the integration in the Lebanese sectarian-based policy.
Nasrallah, now 57, played a crucial role in the termination of a feud between Shiites, which is extended through the attention in the direction of the fight against Israel and, later, the group’s regional reach.
