Large amount of cocaine washed ashore in the United Kingdom
On the beaches at Great Yarmouth for more than 56 million of cocaine washed up in brightly colored holdalls.
Great Yarmouth is located approximately two hundred kilometers northeast of London. The first bags were Thursday found on the beach, on Friday were near the first location, a number of bags found. In total, approximately 360 kilos of cocaine.
The British investigation NCA is investigating where the bags come from and how they ended up on the beaches. According to a spokesperson, it is “highly unlikely that this is the destination that the owners of the bags had envisioned”.
The police think meanwhile all bags have found but put additional agents in to the beaches to keep an eye on. It also calls on the police people to immediately report if they still find.
