Los Angeles police fatally shot a man who waved a machete out in a nursing home.

Los Angeles police fatally shot a machete-wielding man Saturday after he allegedly attacked someone in a Canoga Park home.
There were apparently as many as six children in the house, but none of the children was affected, Bill Melugin Fox-LA-tweeted. The adult who was attacked suffered only a minor injury, the report said.
The police said officers responded to the scene after receiving a domestic disturbance call. Neighbours reported hearing screaming from inside the house earlier in the day, Melugin tweeted.

A man of the inside of the house, which allegedly had with a dislocated shoulder, with the flag down police when they arrived. If the police spoke with him, the machete-wielding man — who was also wearing a gas mask — to leave the house, the LAPD Sgt. Barry Montgomery said.
The suspect ran down the street until the police confronted him in an alley, where the suspect was fatally shot by the police.

The suspect was transferred to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. No police officers were injured.
KABC-TV reported that the man may have been wearing a gas mask, because there was a gas leak in the house. The investigation continued, police said.
