Lamprou turn Wednesday signing one year contract at Ajax

Kostas Lamprou turn on Wednesday signed a one-year contract with Ajax. The Greek keeper is press conference, after his contract at Willem II refused to renew.

“We have a verbal agreement on a commitment for one season,” says Lamprou’s agent Winny Haatrecht Monday against The Telegraph. He is at Ajax behind André Onana and Benjamin van Leer, who earlier this summer happened of Roda JC, third keeper.

The 25-year-old Lamprou has a history at Ajax. The Greek, on his thirteenth move to the Netherlands, in the youth of the Amsterdam club to goalkeeping.

In 2006 he came to Feyenoord, where in 2012 he made his debut in the main power. In total he played fourteen Eredivisiewedstrijden in the main body of the People. The past three seasons he played for Willem II 99 times in the Premier league.

Attracting Lamprou is related to the injury of goalkeeper Norbert Alblas. He has his wrist broken, while also keepers Indy Groothuizen and Mateusz Gorski is not employable due to physical problems.
