La Parra extends contract with Premier League club Huddersfield

Rajiv van La Parra has his contract extended at Huddersfield Town until mid-2020, so made the Premier League club Monday night known.
The Dutch attacker still had a contract with Huddersfield until 2019 and is now being rewarded for his performance in the last season.
The 26-year-old Van La Parra had with forty matches played an important role in the promotion of the club to the Premier League. Huddersfield was in the final of the playoffs after a penalty shoot-out to strong for Reading.
Van La Parra was a two-time accurate and gave four assists in the last Championship season.
“Rajiv is a young boy with a lot of talent and I believe that there is in him still a lot of room for improvement,” said Huddersfield coach David Wagner.
“That is fine, if you see what threat he already is for us. We were last season, better as Rajiv in the field. I’m curious how he will adapt to the Premier League.”
Van La Parra played in the youth for Feyenoord and was later out for SM Caen, sc Heerenveen, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion.
