Kromowidjojo and world cup debutante Van Vliet to the semifinals for the 50 meter free

Ranomi Kromowidjojo and debutante Tamara van Vliet have Saturday qualified for the semi-finals of the 50 metres freestyle at the world swimming CHAMPIONSHIPS in Budapest.
The 26-year-old Kromowidjojo touched in the Hungarian water in a time of 24,53. Van Vliet klokte 24,94.
Her time was Kromowidjojo the fastest in its series. The world champion of 2013, the third time across all series. Van Vliet was good for the fourteenth time overall, and was therefore also at the best of sixteen which allowed the semi-finals.
Sarah Sjöström, from Sweden, recorded with 24,08 the fastest time in the series. Saturday night following the semi-finals in the Danube Arena.
Kromowidjojo took her only world title at the excellent tactical and technical skills in 2013 on the 50 meters free. In addition, she explained, at that distance in 2011 and 2015, seized the silver. Van Vliet (22) makes its world cup debut.
