It wasn’t love at first sight for Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.

“Good Place,” the actress says in a new interview that she met her future husband at a small dinner party to which they have been turned off by what, he couldn’t stop talking.

“And I was like, ‘This is the man to talk to,” she said in an interview that aired on “Today,” per Page Six. “I didn’t know who he was. I just had a thought, maybe one of the guys from ‘Jackass’, or something?… and then we left. There were no sparks whatsoever. No.”

However, it was during their second meeting, things began to change for the Gym.

“Two weeks later, we met at a hockey game … started the flirting, to the left, and then a day after that, and then I get a text that says,” Hello, my name is Dax. I have breached your privacy and you have the number of [a mutual friend]. How do you feel about that?'”

It was Something with a sense of humor, which eventually won her over.

“He knows what he’s doing,” she said. “He’s so cool, and that’s my kind of person. I was like, ‘OK, OK, so to start off with a really good joke that makes me feel like a butterfly.'”

She added, “I fell in love with him way before he was in love with me.”

The couple started dating in 2007 and married in 2013. They have two daughters.
