Krauthammer on Trump suggest US nuclear weapons arsenal need to strengthen

Columnist Charles Krauthammer told viewers Thursday on “special report with Bret Baier” that when the Trump is not Tweeted, that the U.S. needs to strengthen the Nuclear weapons arsenal, he said: “we are to all the beliefs and myths of the last 50 years.”

“The Russians have been obsessed with missile defense systems since Reagan invented the idea in 1981,” said Krauthammer. “Because, you know, that we are technologically advanced and you are only a super power because they have nuclear bombs.”

Krauthammer pointed out that the way Trump delivered the news was “a bit of a mystery, because he is talking about the strengthening of our defenses.”

“What he’s saying to the world, and our own foreign policy establishment, we are not to hold to all the beliefs and myths of the past 50 years, said more nuclear bombs are bad, less nuclear weapons are not good, that is always true,” Krauthammer. “And we will not be, due to reduction of the nuclear agreement with the Russians in the hungry way that Obama and then at the end, with little and perhaps makes us worse off.”
