Knijpbediening for new Pixel smartphone confirmed
The new Pixel model Google this autumn reports has a knijpbediening as in HTC’s U11-smartphone. HTC is also the manufacturer of the Pixel.
This appears from the documentation that is published by the FCC, the American communicatiewaakhond that upcoming smartphones, monitors, reports Android Police.
It follows from this inter alia that the FCC submitted the device to a version of the upcoming Android 8.0 runs, 64 gigabytes of storage and a Snapdragon 835 or 836 if processor resides.
The knijpbediening is confirmed by a mention of this in the system settings. Under the option “Languages, input and gestures’ that the ‘Active Edge’ is and that this is the smart voice assistant Assistant can be activated by squeezing.
