Klaasen won against fellow countryman, The Count further at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS darts

Jelle Klaasen has Thursday evening the second round of the world CHAMPIONSHIP darts in London. The 32-year-old Dutchman was in a Dutch speaking is too strong for debutant Jeffrey de Graaf: 3-1.

The ongeplaatste The Count (26) gave the tenth-ranked Klaasen good party in Alexandra Palace and continued in to 1-1. At decisive moments it was Klaasen eventually just a bit better.

In the second round takes Klaasen against Brendan Dolan. The Northern Irishman, the number 23 of the plaatsingslijst, counted in the first round with Christian Kist.

By the profit from Klaasen there are now four Dutch nationals, the opening round have survived. Previously managed top favourite Michael van Gerwen, Raymond van Barneveld Benito van de Pas in it.

Later in the evening, Vincent van der Voort, who is in London as a twentieth is placed, the last Dutchman in action in the first round. He takes on the German, Max Hopp.
