Kim Kardashian says that she’s from Texas, the prisoner, Rodney Reed, and when he was with the news that his execution should be delayed.
Reed was convicted and sentenced to death in 1998 for the murder of Stacey Stites, a 19-year-old, whose body was found on the side of the road, which is about 35 km to the south-east of Austin, in 1996.
Reed was arrested almost a year after Stites’ death, when his DNA turned up in an unrelated sexual assault. However, his lawyers say new evidence points to the woman and her fiancé, Jimmy Fennell, who is a suspect in the original investigation. Reed, 51, has maintained his innocence.
Kardashian, 39, was one of the celebrities who are campaigning for the delay of driving the implementation process.

“PLEASE apply @GovAbbott How you can use it to execute a man for trial, substantial evidence that would exonerate Rodney Reed has to come out, and even though it says it is the other person of interest,” she tweeted in October. “I WANT TO PLEAD WITH YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING.”
On Friday, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star shared on Instagram that he was when he received the news that the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles recommended that a time delay.

Today I had the honor of meeting #RodneyReed in person, and had the privilege of meeting him when he was on the news that the highest court in Texas for a stay of execution and sent the case back to the district court for further consideration,” Kardashian said in the caption.
“Words can’t describe the relief and hope that swept over the room at that moment in time,” she continued. “The hope had been for the last couple of weeks around Rodney’s case.”
Reed has a 120-day delay while the case is under investigation.
“What We have seen is that the Democrats and Republicans have come together as a team. We have already seen activists, and lawmakers link arms. We have heard from people around the world,” Kardashian, worthy of all praise. “And that’s all because of a deep conviction that every man, or woman, who has been accused of a criminal offence, in particular, is punishable by death, is the chance to see all of the available evidence is considered.”
According to TMZ, Kardashian met up with Reed, as a judicial review. The visits are not often given to death row inmates, however, Kim’s status as a legal student, helped her with the protection of the shareholders ‘ meeting. TMZ says that Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, and hoped to meet up Later, but it was not to be allowed.
TMZ’s sources say that the guard is interrupted Kardashian’s encounter with a Reed, to offer the good news.
“So grateful for the dedication and passion of all who have expressed their support for the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles for their recommendation for a 120-day stay of execution and for the courts to issue a stay,” Kardashian’s post will be closed.
