A massive manhunt continued Saturday as the suspect who is accused of shooting and injuring two Georgia police was not barricaded in an apartment that was surrounded by the authorities.
Kendarrious Chester is accused of shooting two College Park police officers on a Red Snapper. The authorities believed Chester was caught in an apartment in Clayton County, but if a SWAT team members make their way into the building, they did not find anyone, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Two College Park officers were injured in the shooting, but were expected to recover, 11 Alive reported. A police officer was shot two times, one time in the abdomen and once in his ballistic vest, while the second mate on the radio and was struck by a bullet.
The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office gave a warning to find Chester, who they believe was involved in the shooting.
Chester is described as a light-skin black man with dreads and was wearing a dirty, white shirt and black pants with white stars. He is about 5 feet 10 inches and a weight of about 150 pounds.
The police said that they were originally the pursuit of Chester for an alleged domestic violence incident and stearling his girlfriend in the car.
