Joe and Patty Rockstahl told KMVT she contacted the FBI after she hooked one of her employees told them the case of Berreth, who is presumed dead by the authorities. The couple, of whom the owner Rockstahl law firms, said one of her employees, she told in October that her best friend said: “a man had asked her to kill the mother of his child.”
The friend, which is as Krystal Lee, is investigated in connection with Berreth’s disappearance. Berreth the cell phone pinged from Gooding, Idaho, three days after she was last seen alive.
“If we just have got to call the police or drive by and say, ‘you think of killing someone?” that stopped,” Joe Rockstahl told KMVT. “We would not be here. We would not have all this.”

The Rockstahls said they asked to talk to Lee, but the meeting never happened. Lee told her boyfriend to “forget the whole thing,” the couple said, adding that she has no contact with the authorities earlier because the information was vague and came from a second hand source.
Patty Rockstahl said she finally called the FBI after seeing Berreth’s mother, Cheryl Berreth, plead with the public for her daughter back.
“I think that the mother who had the courage to go on TV when her daughter was missing, saying that someone knew where she was,” Patty Rockstahl said. “At that point in my mind I thought that Patrick, and that was the only name that I had heard him called, I didn’t know his last name, had done something to her daughter and he knew where she was.”

Four days later she called the FBI, Frazee was arrested in Berreth’s murder.

The Colorado mother’s mysterious disappearance came to light 10 days after she was last seen on surveillance video, entering a Safeway supermarket in Woodland Park with her 1-year-old daughter, Kaylee, which she shared with Frazee.
Frazee was arrested in late December and charged with first-degree murder in the first degree felony murder and three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder after authorities found enough evidence to connect him to his fiancée disappear.
Berreth the body has not located.
