“The hearing was scheduled for six short days from today, including a survey of senators, the seemingly out of their minds, that they are ‘mistaken’ and ‘mess.’ While not a sexual assault survivor should be subjected to such an ordeal, Dr. Ford, the cooperation with the Committee and with law enforcement authorities want.”

“As the judiciary Committee has recognized and done before, an FBI investigation of the incident should be the first step in addressing their allegations,” the letter continues. “A full investigation by law enforcement authorities to ensure that the key facts and witnesses in this matter is assessed in a non-partisan manner, and that the Committee fully informed prior to the implementation of an oral hearing or a decision.”
In response, a Federal law enforcement official told Fox News, “It is completely the request is inappropriate for someone to, which we use to investigate law enforcement resources, a 35-year-old claim that if you don’t remember under oath and can me, important details, including when or where it happened.”

In response, Feinstein, and the Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s statements backing Ford released.
“I agree with you 100 percent that you said the rushed process to hold a hearing on Monday, it was unfair and reminiscent of the treatment of Anita Hill,” Feinstein. “I agree that we are witnesses to the facts before the senators, not staff or lawyers—talk.
“We should wish to honor Dr. Blasey Ford the and delay this hearing,” Feinstein. “A proper study needs to be completed, witnesses interviewed, evidence reviewed and all the pages spoken. Only then the Chairman should set a hearing date.”
FEINSTEIN FACES GOP HEAT FOR SITTING ON KAVANAUGH ALLEGATIONS FOR WEEKS
Feinstein had told Fox News earlier on Tuesday that they could not be sure Ford was the truth.
“It is said a woman deeply affected by this,” Feinstein. “Well, I can’t say that everything is true. I don’t know.”
In a separate statement, Schumer said the FBI probe would be in line with “precedent,” and added that “Dr. Ford’s call to investigate for the FBI … shows their confidence that, if all facts that an examination by an impartial investigation, your account will continue to be supported and confirmed.”
Earlier Tuesday, the judiciary, and Committee member Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S. C., rejected a comparison with the Clarence Thomas rare.
“You talk about the story,” Graham said. “We’re not back on the search. We are looking forward to it.”
The lawyers of the letter was a curveball in Kavanaugh the current nomination drama began last week after a leak to The Intercept revealed that Feinstein was in possession of a damning letter that may be relevant to his confirmation.
