Hannity: judge Brett Kavanaugh fights back
In spite of the accusations against him, judge Kavanaugh, in recognition of his nomination remains defiant and vows not be intimidated.
When it comes to the nomination of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, remember one thing:
The math is the math is the math.
Nothing else matters.
Either the math in favor of Kavanaugh or not.
The Senate divided between 51 Republicans and 49 senators who Caucus with the Democrats.
Forty-one Republicans have their support says Kavanaugh. Ten GOPers remain undetermined. They are Sens. bill Cassidy, R-La.; Susan Collins, R-Maine, Bob Corker, R-Tenn.; Mike Enzi, R-Wyo.; Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.; John Kennedy, R-La.; James Lankford, R-Okla.; Jerry Moran, R-Kan.; Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; and Ben Sasse, R-Neb.
In the very near future, judge Kavanaugh, the Supreme court of the United States.
– Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
There are at least four Republican senators, the play, in fact, in the now. Fox said the number could be as high as seven Republicans. The four are obviously those on the fence, Collins, Corker, Flake, and Murkowski.
Yes, Kavanaugh’s fate is far from clear.
“In the very near future, judge Kavanaugh, the Supreme court of the United States,” McConnell, in a speech to the values voters summit on Friday. “So, my friends, keep the faith.”
From Monday, the Kentucky Republican, tempered his preaching.
“Judge Kavanaugh will be elected, here in the Senate. Up or down on the Senate, this fine nomination to the Supreme court a vote in this Senate in the near future,” said McConnell.
Up or down.
Brett Kavanaugh, and his wife, Ashley, will be interviewed tonight at 7pmE on @Martha MacCallum @FoxNews. This is a great family to be treated fairly!

It is unclear whether Kavanaugh have the most votes.
“We are in the Twilight Zone when it comes to Kavanaugh,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S. C.
This is fight why the nomination. Kavanaugh refuses to withdraw. He appeared on Fox Monday night, dispute the absence of any of the accusations against him of Christine Blasey, Ford, and others.
The knowledge: a nominee not appear on the verge of sailing to confirmation in the national television with his wife, his case.
So, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ken., trying to save the nomination.
McConnell delivered a blistering speech in the Senate on Monday afternoon. He chided Democrats to decrease about the methods Kavanaugh and at the same time the Republicans gathered in the foreground.
In addition, this was also a signal of McConnell President of the Trump that he’s going to the Mat for the nomination.
After all, the Senate is in play this fall. The free space on the High Court and a swing vote. If Kavanaugh stumbles, the Republicans are fighting to the point with a conservative voice.
Baseball clubs eliminated from the pennant race often E-mail in the course of the last few weeks of the season. Some of the Kavanaugh advocates fear that could be the case here. McConnell knows the GOPers have no chance if you don’t the base on every ground ball in an effort to rescue the nomination.
In addition, moving forward with a vote, could the Republicans help in the midterm elections. Holding a vote might be a tactic to force the moderate democratic senators explain facing competitive re-election offers from the red States to their position on Kavanaugh. No free subscriptions. This approach was part of the GOP plan with Kavanaugh from the start.
So why not stick to the playbook? The Republicans could not Kavanaugh install on the High court. But you can at least have a roll-call vote against Sens., Joe Manchin, D-WVa weaponize.; Heidi Heitkamp, D-N. D.; Joe Donnelly, D-Ind.; Jon Tester, D-Mont.; Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and strengthen a variety of other in the effort of Senate Republicans.
Fox spoke with several Republican senators on Monday. All to say, you want to hear from Ford. But many senators are familiar, you could be right, in fact, against Kavanaugh, if you hear something alarming in Thursday’s testimony. For the same reason, many Republican senators precedent are concerned about the establishment could knock you out, to prove someone’s career on the basis of impossible claims.
Also there is a chance that the Democrats may overplay their hand on Kavanaugh. There is chatter on Capitol Hill that efforts to undermine, Kavanaugh’s nomination could boomerang against the Democrats just before the election.
This is all white-hot.
In view of the clashes with Kavanaugh, the majority of senators on Capitol Hill on Monday, it would have to be brought forward, discussed the fate of the Deputy General Prosecutor Rod Rosenstein.
[W]hile I’m scared, you know, my fear will not hold you to give me back from the witness.
– Christine Blasey Ford
It has not been possible until Monday afternoon, McConnell was able to yank Kavanaugh nomination from the floor, if he lacked the votes for confirmation. In mid-July, the the Senate, moments away from a vote on the nomination of Ryan barriers for a seat on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. But the senators dug up some of the racist writings of limits and discovered that he held some controversial views.
Sen. Tim Scott, R-S. C., is the only African-American GOPer in the Senate. Scott met with limits and reports to McConnell that he could not support the nomination. Borders lacked the votes for confirmation.
McConnell abruptly cancelled the confirmation of the voting, and President of the Trump withdrew the nomination.
It is unlikely that the situation will repeat itself.
So all eyes are focused on Thursday a hearing with Ford’s appear first, followed by Kavanaugh.
In a letter to Grassley, Ford explains , “while I was scared, you know, my fear will not hold me back from testimony to give.” In a return letter to Ford, Grassley P. S. wrote to the edge, “I look forward to your testimony.”
Thursday forum will not play in the spacious, TV-friendly hearing aid system in the Hart Senate Office building, to be built for large events such as this. Instead, the judiciary will be convened by the Committee, into a much smaller space in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Note that in her letter to Grassley, Ford said she wants a hearing, not “to a media-TV-show.”
As for a Committee vote, it is not out of the question to the panel, to announce, it’s a Committee vote on Kavanaugh later in the day. But even if Grassley “messages” votes, a Committee on Thursday, he can immediately vote. Senators from both sides of the aisle need time to process what was said Kavanaugh and Ford. Therefore, a floor is not to unfold a vote on Kavanaugh, until next Tuesday at the earliest.
Does Kavanaugh have a vote? He is short now.
And win or lose, this is not mathematics and mathematics is the mathematics.
