By 2019, Katy Perry, got engaged, ended her feud with Taylor Swift and released five songs on it — but the pop star is already looking ahead to the year 2020.
Perry, 35, opened up to People magazine about her hopes for what the new year will bring.
“For my own personal self, I really want to streamline my life and creating a constant balance,” she said. “There’s a lot of great personal things that come up in the future, which is exciting. Like the idea of a family.”

Perry also said she’s looking forward to Christmas, but it’s not going to be giving (or receiving) of gifts.
“The adults not the gifts, because we are going on vacation. This is the best gift. We are going on vacation, and we are going to eat, we stick with the diet plan,” Perry said. “We are bound to have cravings and we go somewhere every year. Last year we went to Hawaii. This year, we’re going to be somewhere in the snow, so we’re going to have to change it, and maybe go snowboarding or skiing. I’m a snowboarder.”
Perry said that Christmas is the one time a year that its entire family of 10 has been under the same roof, so they are “out of all the young and the atmosphere is great.”

“In order to be able to make a call to your mom in the hallway — it was sweet. We tend to annoy each other and we get along, we’ll be just like the average family,” she says.
It’s Never Really About the” singer also proved to be a unique tradition in her family, which has recently been adopted.
“What we’re doing, this is a new tradition that was inherited by my sister and her husband, who is Danish,” she said. “We believe this to be the almond in the christmas porridge. It’s like the game where everyone is on this Christmas for my father and find it to be an almond. If you do find it, you’ll get it as a gift.”

In November, Perry released a holiday tune, “Perfect” Little Christmas,” with an accompanying video dropping earlier this month.
