Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich said on Tuesday that it believes liberal Democrats such as Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ilhan Omar, are a “cynical Trick” in the midst of the negotiations for the emergency-border-funding.
After both the novice Democrats the reservations expressed against a bill of 4.5 billion dollars to deal with the escalating humanitarian crisis, Pavlich said, “in the minority”, that they both seem to be more interested in the “political talking points, instead of solving the problem.”
Omar, D-Minn., and Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, both of the Congress, called the focus on a comprehensive immigration bill.
“We can’t continue to throw money at a dysfunctional system,” said Omar. “With this crisis, they were not equipped. And we can try to help you get out of this situation without a full, comprehensive plan to address the humanitarian crisis that we see.”

She said she would not be satisfied with “simple changes” to the law. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., met on Monday with Ocasio-Cortez, and other house Democrats, the search for consensus on a law to deal with deteriorating conditions at the boundaries, the places of detention.
“I’m not interested in … make sure that the imprisoned children are getting warmer and warmer burritos. I try to ensure that you are not always locked up in the first place,” Ocasio-Cortez said after the meeting, calling the bill a “short-term measure.”
Pavlich said if Ocasio-believes Cortez, that the prisons are as bad as “concentration camps”, as you said last week, then you should support the fixing of the situation as quickly as possible.

“Well, when it comes to the $ 4.5 billion, the diapers, for the financing of the beds, more food for the children, the Border Patrol agents and HHS-try staff to take care of you … you say no, we’re not going to choose, we want the discussion about a larger situation,” Pavlich argues.
“The fact is that you do not want any kind of immigration enforcement, you don’t want any type of custody. You want to go that everyone will be able to be with no kind of process. To complain, therefore, if you are going to continue to poor humanitarian conditions, it is because they are the ones that keep the funding for the very specific humanitarian need and use it as a cynical ploy, the attack on the administration.”
