The 35-year-old singer shared a video on Instagram with her, rehearsing with her 70-year-old man.

In the video, McPhee belted out a tune while Foster offered an opinion.

“She’s making fun of my music,” Foster said in front of the camera after disconnecting from McPhee’s singing.

“You owe me for my talent,” the singer joked.

“Not at all,” joked Foster.

As the video continues, McPhee said, is that when you run, they will need to make sure to make the melody of Foster’s song is original; otherwise, they will “have to take it at five per cent.”

“You’ve already been given a 50 per cent,” said Foster. “No other theatrical releases as well.”

After a laugh, McPhee turned to the camera and plastered on a smile and said, “It’s called a prenup.”

The two were preparing for Foster’s upcoming tour, on which McPhee is set to appear as a special guest.

“We’re coming to a city near you starting next week!!!! Come and see us, I swear we’ll be fun,” the “American Idol” alum, who wrote in the video’s caption.
