Fashion designer Kate Spade is dead at 55

Fashion icon Kate Spade was found dead in her New York City apartment after an apparent suicide. The 55-year-old is survived by her husband Andy and their 13-year-old daughter Frances Beatrix.

Celebrities and members of the fashion industry took to social media following the news of fashion designer Kate Spade’s sudden death from an apparent suicide broke on Tuesday. The 55-year-old was reportedly found dead in her apartment in Manhattan with a note.

Rosie O’donnell first reach Spade’s brother-in-law, David, has to offer her condolences.
