In a new op-ed, Fox News contributor, Karl Rove warned that the former Vice-President, Joe Biden, the “Europe 2020” campaign with the same “dangers” that Hillary Clinton.
The former George W. Bush adviser pointed out that Biden opened a comfortable lead in the last polls before alert observers should not “overestimate” of the former Veep to win the prospects for the nomination, refers back to the 2007-08 race, when then-sen. Barack Obama burst on the scene, in order to defeat Clinton.

“Democrats are now in the comparison-shopping phase, the distribution of their presidential field, into those who are acceptable, those that you need to know, and those that can be crossed off the list,” Rove wrote for the Wall Street Journal.
“Mr. Biden has done well to build his name and reputation as President Obama’s running mate, but that does not mean that his support is locked.”
He added that Clinton’s failed candidacy in 2008 proved that there is a “danger” for a candidate who is trying to present an image of “inevitability” to the voters.

However, Rove said, it will be difficult for Biden’s rivals with his fundraising knowledge, and organizational efforts, while also capturing the public’s attention, as did Obama with a fiery speech in Iowa at the end of 2007.
“Fast forward to today. Is there a candidate out there that pull off a surprise in Iowa or New Hampshire, by building a strong organization, and then start a Prairie fire, in a debate, the cattle show or the moment of the unexpected high drama? The question-and whether his campaign was able to recover, should keep Mr. Biden, the complete up in the night,” Rove.
