Kanye West is in the hospital for more than a week now, and reports are claiming that the situation with the rapper is so serious, he can not be released soon.
On Nov. 21, West was admitted to the hospital after a reported meltdown of his personal trainer at home. The hospitalization came after the star abruptly cancelled the final 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour.
According to TMZ, West was reportedly going to be released from the hospital Monday, but has trouble with paranoia and is not stable. Us Weekly reported that the doctors said West, “is in no shape to leave”, while his wife Kim Kardashian tried to argue her husband “was able to recover at home.”
A source told The New York Post, the West is “mentally exhausted” from non-stop touring, working on his fashion and sneaker lines, plus the anniversary of the death of his mother Donda West, on Nov. 10.
TMZ also reported that the West and the paranoia is so bad, he would not even let doctors touch him this weekend.
Kardashian has reportedly not left the West side, sleeping and feeding her husband. E! reported that she was afraid that her husband “may have on too much with all these shows… It was a lot of things on his plate and began to pile up at once.”
If the 39-year-old entered the hospital last week, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, attended the Angel Ball in New York city — Kim Kardashian was rumored to be set for making an appearance, but she quickly flew back to Los Angeles when the news broke about the West of the condition. When asked by journalists how the couple was doing, Jenner simply said, “they are very good.”
Singer John Legend, who is friends with West and Kim Kardashian hinted something with the rapper in recent weeks.
“We were with Kim, you know, just before all of that… I was touched by what I saw,” he told “CBS This Morning” last week. “Hopefully he has some peace and some time to figure things out.”
On Nov. 21, Los Angeles police told The Associated Press that officers were called to a house on Laurier Avenue in the near West Hollywood, for a disturbance at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Monday and declared that it was a medical situation. The police said nothing about the West hospitalization since.
Similarly, E!, that airs “Keeping up with the Kardashians” has said very little about the subject. An E! rep told the AP last week, the cameras were not rolling for the show as the 911 call was made and who were not filming at the UCLA Medical Center. No further explanation of the network was released.
Reps for Kim Kardashian and West will not return FOX411’s request for comment. E! declined to comment.
