Kanye West announces his new name is ‘Thou’ forward ‘SNL’ appearance

Kanye West announces that he changed his name to “Ye” for his “SNL” appearance on Saturday.

Kanye West has revealed that he changed his name of “Thou” for his long-awaited appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”

West shared the news of his name change on Twitter, and wrote on Saturday morning in a tweet, “formally known as Kanye West. I am THOU.”

The rapper, fashion designer, who is scheduled to appear on the season premiere of “SNL” with host Adam Driver, is scheduled to release his new album “YHANDI”, while on the various program on Saturday night.

West is a sudden change of the name can be linked to the release of his new music, but “Thou” is also the title of his June 1st album that he spent months recording at his ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

On Thursday, prior to his “Ye” announcement, the father of the North, a Saint, and Chicago, which he shares with Kim Kardashian, also shared a preview picture of himself on the NBC show.

In the photo, West is next to the Director and “SNL” actor Kenan Thompson, while sporting a BIG hat and a white sweatshirt with Free Hoover written. The sweater looked similar to he’d carried earlier this week that seemed to support Colin Kaepernick. The rapper who is known for his controversial political views and support for Donald Trump, is shown by the politics in the “SNL” stage.

The next day, West was snapped leaving the studio in New York City with his wife and children in the late evening. Kardashian wore a pink mini dress during a walk behind the West as they left the Electric Lady Studios.

And while the West has expressed excitement for his new music to drop, the artist, who is not known for being humble, admitted that “YHANDI” will probably debut behind “The Carter V,” rapper Lil Wayne’s new album.
