“So I took my mother to see ‘Deep Throat,'” Hickenlooper revealed a large roar from the audience. “But I’ll tell you: I’m sure my mother was mortified, and I always said, ‘I think we should go, I think we should go,” and my mother is the type of person who rarely went was a movie. … Once you paid for it, you wanted to stay.
