Kadioglu (17) rescues point for NEC in Utrecht

The match between FC Utrecht and NEC’s Sunday afternoon in a tie which ended. The just 17-year-old Ferdi Kadioglu gave the Nijmegenaren a point: 1-1.

In the first half, FC Utrecht is the better team. Mid led the home team earned a 1-0, thanks to an own goal from NEC goalkeeper Joris Delle, who shot from Nacer Barazite against his back.

After peace came to NEC in a much stronger position for the day. This resulted after an hour of play in the second half of Kadioglu.

The tie is FC Utrecht eighth in the Eredivisie, NEC has the twelfth place in the hands.

Utrecht opened strong in the Galgenwaard. After nineteen seconds was Barazite dangerous, but his shot went just next. Also after that came the home team a few times, imminent in the near of the goal of NEC, especially thanks to the strong playing Yassin Ayoub.

The 1-0 fell only in the 35th minute. Richairo Zivkovic was unlocked on the right side. With a low cross, he found Barazite, who of there via the back of goalkeeper Delle, touch lap.

This was the jeugdinternational 17 years and 23 days youngest goalscorer in the history of NEC in the Eredivisie.

The Nijmegenaren got opportunities for more. A diagonal shot from Taiwo Awoniyi went right along and Janio Bikel had an open schietkans untapped.
