Juventus president Andrea Agnelli gets year suspension imposed

The disciplinary commission of the Italian football federation (FIGC) has Juventus president Andrea Agnelli a suspension of one year imposed. The FIGC announced Monday. Juventus must for the misconduct of Agnelli also a fine of 300,000 euros to pay.

Agnelli himself will still get a penalty of 20,000 euros. Three other directors of Juventus, who together with the president summoned were given the same punishment. The FIGC opened in march an investigation into the dubious contacts between Agnelli and the infamous maffiaclan ‘Ndrangheta. According to the public prosecutor’s office would ‘Ndrangheta infiltration in the hard supporterskern of the Old Lady. Agnelli is suspected to have negotiated with the maffiaclan from Calabria, about the massive sales of tickets and subscriptions. In the Serie A can supporters however, a maximum of four tickets per purchase. ‘Ndrangheta made according to the public prosecutor of Turin, the abuse of and sold the tickets above their value, or handed them out to amokmakers.

The disciplinary commission had thirty-month suspension and a fine of 50,000 euro against Agnelli advanced.
